  1. How much do you charge for a candy/dessert table setup and what are the items included in your package? How can I inquire and place an order from you?

Our package price depends on the complexity of your theme customisation, your catering size (no. of pax) and special requests on cake, desserts, candies, props, upgrades, add ons, etc.

The package includes a selection of pastries and candies customised to suit your intended theme/colour scheme. Birthday cakes are also inclusive in birthday packages. For us to better understand your needs and to provide a more accurate quote, please provide us with more information about your event.

Simply fill up and submit your enquiry form on the Contact Us page or email to BeCandied@gmail.com with the following information and we will get back to you within 3 working days.

  • The type of event / occasion
  • The date, time & duration of your event
  • The venue and location of your event
  • Will the candy table be placed indoor (air-conditioned, or just sheltered) or outdoor?
  • Total number of guests you would like to cater for (For candy/dessert tables, the catering size should always be smaller than the total quantity of guests)
  • Your preferred design, theme or colors
  • Are you looking at only candy items and/or desserts (eg. whole cakes, mini or regular cupcakes, macarons etc.)?
  • Do you require a birthday or wedding cake? And how many tiers?
  1. How far in advance do I need to tell you about my order? Can I place an urgent order?

For candy/dessert tables, it is highly recommended that you confirm your order with us 6 to 8 weeks in advance, especially if your party involves major customization. This will give us more time to plan and source/prepare the necessary items for each setup.

A minimum of 3 weeks lead time is required for urgent orders. We will not be able to commit to urgent orders that are less than 3 weeks from the event date, unless we receive your confirmation within the next 1 or 2 days. This is so that we can have ample time to prepare for it, as we will still need to source and produce props/materials for the setups and not forgetting that we also have other orders on hand.

It is best to tell us about your order the moment your party plans are firm, so that we can tell you whether we are available for that date. Whether we can take on your order or not really depends on our schedule and if we still have available slots for that particular day.

  1. What is your minimum catering size for your candy/dessert tables?

Our minimum catering size is for 30 pax. Our 30 pax package is our most popular package recommended for most of the events. The same goes for weddings, as there is no need to cater for everyone since the candy/dessert table is just for the cocktail reception.

Based on experience, our 30 pax package is usually sufficient for the guests. This is because we noticed that not every guests consume sweet items. At times, there may even be leftovers, but before we tear down the table, the leftovers will be packed into small bags for guests to take away, so there will be no wastage. Takeaway bags are also provided during the party for your guests to pack and take away the candies and desserts.

  1. How do I know if my order is confirmed?

Your order is only confirmed when we sent you an email confirmation, which is after the receipt of a 50% deposit via direct bank transfer to our bank account. Balance will be due 14 days prior to the event date.

  1. Can you show me some sample photos of my requested theme setup? Do you provide a draft design of the setup and the cake?

What we do are bespoke candy and dessert table setups and all our cakes and desserts are baked-to-order to match each customised theme.

The design of the setup is at our discretion and we do not provide a draft design for both the cake and setup. Everything is customised and we ask that you take a leap of faith with us, plus there is also the element of surprise when you see the final product at the end. We will not be able to provide you with a sample image unless from now till then, someone else happens to have the same theme and we have something similar which we can show you.

All pictures of our work can be found here on our website and Facebook page. If you do not see any pictures of your desired theme setup, it simply means that we have not done it before but this does not mean that we cannot do it. Themes that we have not done before may be due to copyright restrictions or that none of our past clients has ever requested for that same particular theme before, so please feel free to check with us if you have a different theme in mind because we are always open to new challenges. There is always a first time for each different theme setup.

For our cakes, we do not provide full fondant cakes as we have seen a lot of wastage at events because people always end up throwing away the fondant portions. Our cakes are all decorated with a cream cheese based frosting. We will suggest a design that we feel best suit the theme and also to be in line with the rest of the other pastry items before proceeding.

  1. Are your candies and desserts halal?

We are currently not a halal establishment as our candies/pastries/cakes contain traces of gelatin.
